September 1, 2005

The 15 hour Essentials of Real Estate Finance class must be completed and submitted with an application to the TSLD before September 1, 2005 for pre-licensure credit for a loan officer license.  This is due to a new law that takes effect September 1, 2005.

New Laws Concerning Mortgage Education Will Make It Harder To Double Dip For Both TREC & TSLD.  New Mortgage Broker and Loan Officer Education Requirements Become Effective September 1, 2005.  Call For Details.

Approved By The Texas Savings And Loan Department (TSLD) to offer both

Pre-Licensing For Loan Officers and Continuing Education For Loan Officers

and Mortgage Brokers.

At this time we are working with the TSLD to obtain approval for a pre-licensure class.

It is the student’s responsibility to determine that the course ordered meets TREC’s regulatory requirement.  Remember if you are taking a SAE class for a MCE requirement the student is required to send the course completion certificate to TREC with their renewal.
